This package has been designed to cater to ten guests. It is also possible to celebrate your wedding with a more select group, however due to the exclusive nature of our packages a fee for a minimum of ten guests is a prerequisite. You are also able to invite more guests for an additional fee. Please also note that this package is created for tulip season; late March, April, and early May. We cannot guarantee how in bloom the tulips will be until closer to the date of your wedding.
VENUE
What comes to mind when you think of traditional Dutch culture? Maybe windmills, wooden clogs, the stroopwafel, and of course Delfts Blue pottery. For this package we have something truly special in store for you, a unique venue built in 1375, located outside of Amsterdam, in which your wedding ceremony will overlook the magnificent tulip fields. Therefore, we recommend this package for the months of tulip season, late March to mid May. For those who want to beat the heat and busy of summer, this package serves as the perfect spring wedding!
CEREMONY
The memorable moment in which you exchange your vows and say “I do” is a priority. Our experienced wedding officiant specializes in creating one of a kind, heartfelt and personalized ceremonies. Together, you will plan a ceremony that genuinely represents your love for one another and your journey together. On the big day, your wedding officiant will facilitate the ceremony of your dreams. The only thing you have to do is to savor the moment. You can either get married outside with the tulip fields in the background, or inside this stunning venue.
WEDDING CAKE
Do it like the Dutch, cut the cake right after your ceremony as your are toasting to your marriage! We have selected an exceptional confectioner who specializes in creating elegant bridal cakes in accordance to your typical Dutch wedding theme, and you will get to customize the cake to your preferences. Do you want a buttercream cake with typical local flowers like tulips, or maybe have it decorated with stroopwafels and filled with the same caramel? We will bring your hearts’ desires to life and wow your guests at this wedding to remember.
TULIPS & FLORALS
This venue is a picture perfect dream. After your ceremony, you will get to frolic through the tulip fields with your fresh bouquet in hand. We have an incredible florist who will create stunning arrangements that match your venue surroundings and in accordance with your personal wishes. These of course will be handpicked fresh flowers from Amsterdam’s famous flower auction.
ON THE CANALS
A private shuttle bus will escort you back into Amsterdam after your ceremony, where you will board a typical Dutch salon boat. On board you will be joined by the friendliest captain and crew in Amsterdam. Enjoy enchanting views and delight in all the things that make Amsterdam so great; picturesque streets with historical canal houses, buzzing streets filled with locals biking around the city, friends and family enjoying a bite along the water, the sun shining, and much more.
DUTCH MUSIC
If your hearts were already filled with excitement then it’s your lucky day, because it’s only getting better. Your journey along the canals will be accompanied by a fantastic musician. Or, you can opt to have them preform at your ceremony. Either way, when they start playing you will immediately feel connected to the vibrant city of Amsterdam. The mesmerizing music will make your journey through the city, and wedding day, even more special.
WINE & DINE
On board, you will be joined by a chef who will prepare a delicious dinner that you will enjoy with your beloved guests. We have selected an incredible chef who is known for taking Dutch cuisine to the next level, which locals describe as gezellig. While the chef’s creations are derived from traditional Dutch recipes that have been passed on from generation to generation, originality is the secret ingredient that elevates this cuisine to the next level. On your wedding day, you will enjoy a personally selected thee course menu filled with fresh produce, top notch ingredients, accompanied by incredible service.
